May 2024 - 'Out of Frame'

An intertwined dual narrative series designed to reveal a glimpse of the effort behind portrait photography.

The series is divided into two narratives, separated by lighting tone and framing; the first is a character on a stage, a woman who's been raised with the dream of a perfect marriage and slowly comes to realise that is not what she has found herself in, battling with her situation until eventually she chooses her happiness and leaves; the second, a faceless production crew who interact with the scene but are not seen by the character, who control the set and first narrative through their interaction with the stage similar to a photographer controlling the story of their image through set design.
